Behavioural Needs

We do take dogs in with behavioural problems and issues, however, Sharon would prefer to speak to the Owners in person and meet the dogs prior to taking any bookings.

It will be solely Sharon’s decision whether we will accept the dog or not and each case will be assessed on its own individual merits.

Please understand that although Sharon has over 26 years’ experience in looking after dogs if however, she cannot handle a certain dog then we have no choice but to refuse it.

If your dog is accepted future bookings will only be taken after speaking to Sharon and only if she is here at the time of the dates you are looking for.

We offer all dogs and cats the opportunity to visit our kennels and cattery for a FREE 2-hour session prior to coming in to stay.

This is subject to your dog and or cat being full vaccinated including kennel cough (Dogs only)and subject to availability.

Because of the New Government Legislation we need to spend much more time walking the dogs.

Although we open at 8 am through the week and 9 am at weekends we would appreciate it if All of our Customers could arrange to drop their Pets off from 10 am onwards each day.

This will give us time to concentrate on early morning collections, Familiarisation and day Boarders time to be checked in and out, before all of the arrivals for the day.

This will not apply to Day Boarding or Familiarisation.(These have Set Times)

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to speak to a Member of Management.

They will do their utmost to accommodate you.

We also do extra walks as much as possible and for certain types of accommodation.

We currently use approx. 6 acres of land, which we own, to walk and play with dogs.

We have sections that are fenced off that we can let the dogs off the lead too.

We must obviously get to know the dog first and have the Owners written permission.

In order for us to do this we employ a large amount of Staff and some Staff start work from 5 am until very late each day. (We have less Staff during the winter months than the Summer Months.)
