Can you notify us if your dog comes into season prior to coming in to board?

We still take them, we just need to know how far in season they will be when they come in.

If your dog has been ill or has any new medical issues 7 days prior to arrival can you please notify us.

Behavioural Needs

We do take dogs in with behavioural problems and issues, however, Sharon would prefer to speak to the Owners in person and meet the dogs prior to taking any bookings.

It will be solely Sharon’s decision whether we will accept the dog or not and each case will be assessed on its own individual merits.

Please understand that although Sharon has over 26 years’ experience in looking after dogs if however, she cannot handle a certain dog then we have no choice but to refuse it.

If your dog is accepted future bookings will only be taken after speaking to Sharon and only if she is here at the time of the dates you are looking for.

Familiarisation

We offer all dogs and cats the opportunity to visit our kennels and cattery for a FREE 2-hour session prior to coming in to stay.

Exercise

We walk the dogs in line with the new Government Legislation.

20 minute walks at least twice per day and or 20 minutes time out one of our 4  Exercise areas. (Play parks)

We also do extra walks as much as possible and for certain types of accommodation.

We also do a minimum of 4 Toilet breaks per day if the Kennel doesn’t have an outside run.

We currently use approx. 6 acres of land, which we own, to walk and play with dogs.

We have sections that are fenced off that we can let the dogs off the lead too.

We must obviously get to know the dog first and have the Owners written permission.

In order for us to do this we employ a large amount of Staff and some Staff start work from 5 am until very late each day. (We have less Staff during the winter months than the Summer Months.)

If your dog has limitations with health and lengths of walks can you please let us know on arrival.

We have 24-hour surveillance cameras for crime prevention.
