Adopting a Dog - things to consider

  • The adoption fee is £70.00 - £100.00, depending on the dog.
  • The adoption fee is a voluntary contribution which is not for buying your dog, but to help us pay towards kennelling costs for any more abandoned dogs, after the 8 days as a stray. This enables us to help as many dogs as possible. We are not a Registered Charity and after the 8 days, which the council pays for, we cover all costs ourselves.
  • Owning a pet is a big responsibility. Be sure that you can meet their needs and provide for them financially. We recommend insuring your pet to help cover the cost of any future unexpected medical costs.
  • We ask you to seriously think about adopting a rescue dog as we only want people who can offer FOREVER Homes. Obviously some of our dogs will have some behaviour issues but we can put you in touch with a very good Training School if required.

Adoption Success Stories

There is nothing quite like the feeling we get from successfully rehoming an animal, especially when so many of the ones we see have been abandoned, abused or neglected. We carefully match each pet to the right new owner, so that each animal is a rehoming success.
